    Anandalok Trust for Education and Development (Anandalok Trust), a national organisation, was established with an aim to create opportunities of child friendly quality education for out of school children in Bangladesh. AT is looking for a dynamic Fundraising Officer for its Future-oriented and High-quality Education in Disaster-prone Areas of Bangladesh Project supported by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice. The Fund Raising Officer will be responsible for implementing fund raising activities from local, national and international level.

    Capacitated partner NGOs and continuously conduct advocacy dialogue with local and national education authorities and organise dissemination workshops. Work with regular project members in implementation of different events and innovations.

    Position:

    Fundraising Officer

    Responsibilities:

      1. Implementation of Fundraising Initiatives
        • Develop and implement of the annual fundraising plans and strategies to meet the organization’s goals.
        • Contribute in managing and coordinating all fundraising activities, including direct mail, online campaigns, corporate donations, major gifts, events, and sponsorships.
        • Conduct research and identifying potential donors, corporate partners, and grant opportunities to increase fundraising efforts.
        • Building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and other stakeholders to increase awareness, support and engagement with the organization’s mission and vision.

     

    1. Support Management
      • Maintain accurate donor databases and tracking systems to ensure proper recording and reporting of all donations.
      • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Executive Director to monitor and evaluate fundraising performance and goals.
      • Provide support to NETZ GO and BO to provide different communication materials for fund raising and visibility aspect. Keep close contact with partner NGOs, donors and parrtners.
    2. Fundraising Communication
      • Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and other donor engagement activities to increase awareness and support for the respective causes.
      • Collaborate with programme staff to identify funding opportunities and develop proposals for grant applications and other fundraising initiatives.
      • Keep up-to-date with the latest fundraising trends, best practices, and technologies, and incorporate new techniques into the organization’s fundraising strategy.
      • Develop newsletter/magazine/video clip. Print and published relevant documents materials.
      • Maintain Website, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp posting regularly.

    Job Nature: Full-time; Direct reportable to Fundraising and Advocacy Coordinator

    Educational Requirements: Masters Degree in any relevant subject from reputed university.

    Experience Requirements: 3-5 years professional experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or related field

    Additional Job Requirements:

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful fundraising campaigns
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla
    • Computer skill (word, Excel, Power Point and other communication skills with typing ability Bangla and English);

    Salary Range: 40,000-50,000 BDT per month.

    Fundraising and Advocacy Coordinator

    Responsibilities

      1. Development of strategies
        • Develop and implement fund-raising strategies to meet organizational goals
        • Conducting research to identify potential donors or volunteers who might be interested in supporting the organization’s mission
        • Developing new methods to attract new donors and increase contributions from existing donors

     

      1. Fund generation
        • Write and edit grant proposals and reports
        • Develop promotional materials for fundraising
        • Collaborate with the development team on advocacy campaigns

     

      1. Regular Communication with donors
        • Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors through personal visits, phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
        • Steward donors by providing updates on how their gifts are used
        • Coordinate events such as charity gathering etc. to raise fund for the organization
        • Manage relationships with donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to encourage continued support
        • Recognize and thank donors for their contributions

     

    1. Record keeping
      • Keep accurate records of donations and donor communications
      • Reviewing financial statements and budgets to determine how funds are being spent and whether they are being used efficiently

    Job Nature: Full-time; Direct reportable to Executive Director

    Educational Requirements: Masters Degree in any relevant subject from reputed university.

    Experience Requirements: 5-7   years professional experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or related field

    Additional Job Requirements: 

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful fundraising campaigns
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla
    • Computer skill (Word, Excel, Power Point and other communication skills with typing ability Bangla and English);
    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    Salary Range: 70,000-80,000 BDT per month.
