Senior Staff Nurse – HOPE IPC Unit at Ukhiya

চাকরির দায়িত্বসমূহঃ
- Provide efficient and effective nursing care to COVID 19 positive patients;
- Complete all physician orders, administer medications, and conduct treatments and tests for patients in a timely manner;
- Assist with patient care in recovery room, procedure room and operating room;
- Develop and implement nursing care plan for assigned patient;
- Execute proper use, care and handling of surgical equipment to ensure safety of operating staff and patient;
- Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of sterile techniques;
- Communicate continuously with operating team and other medical staff to meet needs for patient care;
- Assist in ordering, storing and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies;
- Prepare operating room with surgical equipment, sterile, linens and supplies that will be needed during surgery;
- Maintain order and cleanliness in operating room;
- Prepare patients including cleaning and disinfecting body areas for surgery;
- Prepare timely and accurate records of patient history and recovery charts.

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing
Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery with vast experience can also apply. With BNMC valid license

Midwife for HOPE IPC Unit at Ukhiya

চাকরির দায়িত্বসমূহঃ
- Examining patients visiting with COVID 19 positive and provide them with the services as per protocol.
Conduct normal vaginal delivery. - Assessing and evaluating individual patient’s need and act accordingly.
- Identifying high-risk pregnancies/other patients and initial stabilization of obstetrical emergencies and referral to higher level of care
- Arranging and providing parenting and health education;
- Providing counseling and advising before and after screening and tests;
- Offering support following events such as miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, neonatal abnormality, neonatal death, and advice on general hygiene and family planning.
- Supervising and assisting mothers in labour, monitoring the condition of the fetus and using knowledge of drugs and pain management
- Using evidence based clinical care with all women and infants
- Ensuring that no patient leaves facility without being offered services.
- Following the Infection Prevention protocol and Waste Management guidelines
- Running the facility as per the signed contact/protocol.
- Ensuring patient friendly behavior, respectful maternity care, and display good manners and ethics.
- Making justified and timely decision for referrals to a secondary facility for high-risk pregnancy
- Collaborating with the family planning, MR, PAC provider on-site to connect patients with needed services
- Maintaining excellent communication with Hope and be very vigilant and smart to respond to phone calls/SMS and e-mails.
