মোট শূন্যপদের সংখ্যা ১৪। চুক্তিভিত্তিক এই পদগুলিতে প্রথমে এক বছরের জন্য কর্মী নিয়োগ করা হবে। এর পর সংস্থার প্রয়োজন এবং নিযুক্তদের কাজের উপর নির্ভর করে এই মেয়াদ বৃদ্ধি করা হতে পারে। নিযুক্তদের উত্তর-পূর্বের যে কোনও অঞ্চলে সংস্থার অফিসে পোস্টিং দেওয়া হবে।

Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) is a public sector undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India. It is involved in the planning, consultancy, and engineering services for the railway sector and other transport infrastructure. RITES was established in 1974 under the Ministry of Railways to provide a range of services such as:

1. Consulting: RITES offers consultancy services for the development and modernization of railway infrastructure, including design, planning, and project management.

2. Engineering Services: It is involved in railway engineering, including construction supervision, signal and telecommunication, electrification, and rolling stock.

3. Technical and Economic Analysis: It conducts feasibility studies and economic analyses for transport systems, providing solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability.

4. Project Management: RITES helps in managing large-scale projects related to the development and modernization of transport networks, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on time.

5. Manufacturing: RITES also deals with the design and supply of locomotives, coaches, and other railway equipment.
