We are looking for qualified professionals to join the team for the following position:
Manager – Islamic Finance Wing
The Islamic Finance Wing Manager/ Supervisor will develop a strategy and work plan for the Islamic Finance wing that is consistent with the activities of relevant entities in the market, including stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for leading the wing, assuring its full integration with other activities of the organization.
- Be responsible for developing, maintaining and strengthening relationships with Islamic banks, Commercial banks, NBFIs, as well as all relevant domestic organizations, in order to meet more effectively the needs of the financial sector in terms of Islamic Finance training.
- Develop strategy and work plan for the Islamic Banking & Finance Department, in consultation with stakeholders.
- Be able to promote and market the Islamic Finance program to all the stakeholders.
- Oversee and finalize the development of courses and curriculum relevant to the Islamic Finance sector in close communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain a high quality of training activities and develop an effective methodology for training consistent with best international practices.
- Work in coordination with relevant training service providers to enhance the Islamic Finance curriculum.
- Manage and help in the development of the skills, knowledge and tools of Islamic Finance national trainers. Develop professional development plans for each national trainer and provide in-house training in relevant areas.
- Develop and support diverse strengthening activities for Islamic Banking & Finance, including forums, focus on compliance and internal audit.
- Prepare reports for presentation to the top Management and Board of Directors of the organization.
- Maintain effective communication skills with the trainees, MFIL management, board of directors and the commercial banks and other financial institutions.
- Carry out other related tasks, as per the directions given by the Management.
Employment Status: Full-time
Requirements
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management from any reputed University
- 8/10 years’ experience in Islamic Finance/Islamic Banking
Additional Requirements
- Age must not exceed 40 years at the time of application
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and selling skills
- Quick learner and ability to accept changes
- Sound knowledge in MS Office
